De Consolatione Philosophiae (Latin Edition)

De Consolatione Philosophiae (The Consolation of Philosophy) is a philosophical work by Boethius, written in Latin, probably around 524 AD. It has been described as the single most important and influential work in the West on medieval and early Renaissance Christianity, but is also a starting point for later philosophers like Jean-Jacques Rousseau.The text presents a conversation between Boethius and Lady Philosophy, where Boethius laments his unjust imprisonment and exile.
